Who we are

What we collect

We only collect what you give us and what the site needs to work.

• Information you submit. When you fill in the estimate form we collect your name, phone number, and optionally your email, town, the service you are interested in, and anything you write in the message box.
• Basic analytics. If analytics is enabled we collect standard usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location by region, device type and referring site. This is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.

We do not ask for and do not want sensitive information such as government identifiers or payment card numbers through this website.

How we use it

• To contact you about the estimate or question you submitted.
• To schedule and carry out work you hire us for.
• To understand which pages are useful so we can improve the site.

We do not sell your information. We do not rent or trade it. We do not send marketing email to people who only asked for an estimate.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that make this site and our business run, and only so they can do that job. That includes our website host, our customer relationship management system where estimate requests are received, and our analytics provider. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not use advertising cookies. If analytics is enabled, it may set a cookie to tell repeat visits apart. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work. Most browsers also offer a Do Not Track setting, which we honour where our analytics provider supports it.

How long we keep it

Estimate requests are kept for as long as we may reasonably need them for the project and for our business records. If you would like yours removed, ask us and we will remove it.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@rraffordabledeckbuilders.com or call (630) 523-8543 and we will take care of it.

Children

This site is meant for adults arranging home improvement work. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Links to other sites

Where we link out, for example to our Google Business Profile or a decking manufacturer, that site has its own privacy policy and we are not responsible for it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top of this page. The date only moves when the policy actually changes.
